Canadian Hot Rod

A hot rod indeed... Based on another custom-built, ebony-equipped gamba Engelhardt, this bass was meant for rockabilly and psychobilly from the day it was ordered. Black binding and pinstriped flames on the back and from the f-holes contrast nicely with the crisp, bright gloss white. Black bridge and chrome hardware throughout (even the bridge adjusters) contribute to the rodder vibe of this bass. Setup with low string height, flatter fingerboard radius and Euro Ultra Lights for fast psycho slap. Canadian bassist Adam Freeborn owns this bass.
