True Blonde

One of the only rosewood-equipped basses to come through Norton Customs, this bass started as a custom-built violin shape Engelhardt. The goal was a blnde bass with a little edge, but with a classy, old-tymey look. Custom-mixed true blonde over spruce and flame maple is trimmed out with black edging offset with an ivory pinstripe. Combine with the rosewood board, the bass is a very vintage-looking instrument with interesting and tasteful detail. Very warm look.

Detroit bass veteran Kevin Stripling ordered the bass, which he curently plays in the area's premier foot-stompin' roots band, the Salt Miners.
